Il s'agit du premier tome d'une série qui comporte 6 romans, consacrés à 6 frères. Il s'agit du premier tome" Breaking up with Barrett" de Katy Regnery. Barett, surnommé le "requin", est le fils ainé d'une famille et un PDG d'une grande entreprise. Pour adoucir son image, il a besoin d'une "fiancée". Il va alors demander à la fille d'un de ses employés de maison qui vivaient donc près de là où il a grandi et donc qu'il a connu toute sa vie. La jeune femme est en première année de doctorat.
Evidemment, il va la voir autrement et tomber amoureux d'elle, ça semble évident.
