Ce connard imposant et canon est sur le point de découvrir que j’en ai assez de jouer selon ses règles.

Comeback est une romance sur le thème du football pleine de piquant, de romance et dotée d’une fin heureuse. C’est le troisième livre de la série des frères Holland et il peut être lu indépendamment.

Une chouette romance et un premier tome sympa (lecture perso)

 

Petit avis rapide sur "Le rocker de Delirious Jones" de Penelope Ward que j'ai acheté au Salon des romances à Lyon, publié chez Bookmark (le tome 2 arrive en juin pour la version ebook) 
Il s'agit d'une romance age gap puisque lui a presque 38 ans et elle, 22. Tristan est chanteur d'un groupe à succès et Emily, une jeune femme qu'il va croiser au départ dans un studio d'enregistrement où il se trouve avec son groupe. Elle ne connait pas vraiment et le fait qu'elle le traite normalement lui plait beaucoup et visiblement alors qu'elle était pour une raison qu'elle seule sait, tous pensent qu'elle est venue postuler pour la tournée qui commencent en tant que roadie. 
Leur chemin vont donc se croiser et Tristan, bien que conscient qu'elle est plus jeune, cherche sa compagnie car il se sent bien avec elle ; elle l'apaise et elle lui plait en même temps et pourtant, il lutte contre son attirance. Quant à Emily, elle est déchirée par son attirance aussi, le fait qu'il la comprenne et son fameux secret". Or, quand il va exploser, ce n'est absolument pas à quoi on s'attend et je vous laisse le découvrir car cela va avoir des répercussions, bien sûr. 
Mais nous sommes dans une romance, donc? ^^ happy end compliqué, certes, mais à venir.

J'ai beaucoup aimé cette romance, les deux personnes sont agréables, il craque le premier et on cherche à savoir ce qu'elle cache. Les autres musiciens sont plus rock'en roll et sont prometteurs (ils sont amis depuis l'adolescence) C'est la force de Penelope Ward nous surprendre jusqu'au bout et nous emmener là où on ne s'y attend pas : c'est belle romance forte et touchante que je vous recommande.

Pour ma part, je lirai le tome 2 "Le batteur de Delirious Jones avec plaisir".

Rien n’arrive par hasard.

Personne, sauf moi, ne savait pourquoi j’étais dans le désert californien ce jour-là.
