Petit topo sur l'auto-édition suite à l'affaire qui a bouleversé les réseaux sociaux et le monde du livre en général.

 Je ne m'exprimerai pas sur ce qui s'est passé parce que je pense que tout a été dit : je suis arrivée un peu après la tempête ayant été très prise ce week-end et ce début de semaine avec la reprise du travail que j'ai suivi les "informations" sans lire un seul extrait du livre polémique retiré depuis et c'est parfait. Visiblement, c'est tellement immonde que cette personne pourrait bien avoir des ennuis judiciaires, on le verra bien.

Je ne lis pas de dark romance (je lis des romances sombres mais croyez-moi que ce n'est pas pareil) et si j'ai bien compris, ça n'en est pas une mais ce roman a été associé à ce genre et depuis la polémique ne cesse d'enfler. Il faut bien comprendre que je n'ai rien contre que les adultes en lisent si c'est leur truc, mais je fais partie de celles qui militent pour que ce soit interdit en dessous d'un certain âge : quand je vois des gaminettes ne lire que ça ou presque, oui, ça me pose un problème. Mais là encore, ce n'est pas le sujet.

 Je me sens, en tant que chroniqueuse, obligée d'intervenir pour défendre l'auto-édition : en effet, ce n'est pas parce que ce roman est mauvais et malsain, voire hors-la loi, et parce qu'il est publié en auto-édition qu'il faut que tous les auteurs et leurs livres soient mis au même niveau : absolument pas! Je ne parlerai que de la romance parce que c'est celui que je connais le plus mais je suis sûre qu'il y a des pépites en policiers et autres et non, ce n'est pas toujours parce que les ME ont refusé leur livre : certain(e)s font le choix de l'auto-édition ou sont des auteur(es) hybrides donc auto-édités et publiés en ME. 

Je ne citerai que quelques noms et vous invite à aller voir le travail qu'elles ou ils font ; Julie Dauge, Anna Briac, Olivia Rigal, Estelle Every, Anna Wendell, Tamara Balliana etc. par exemple pour les Françaises ou Melissa Foster, Kristen Ashley,  Chantal Fernando etc 

Bref, réfléchissez et ne généralisez pas. Ce livre a été interdit et c'est normal. En revanche, lyncher des gens qui n'ont rien demandé et fait, c'est inadmissible. Allez découvrir et vous seriez franchement surpris ou surprises.
